About a month and a half ago I began pondering about a new redesign for M1k3...I wanted something more 'blogger' friendly so it would entice me to post more bulletins. I started out by ditching the dark colors and only keeping the light green. I soon realized that I wasn't very happy with the absence of my dark colors so I began a color scheme restructure until I came up with something a little darker. I was very happy with the outcome and completed the XHTML/CSS coding, however right before integrating my PHP I started to miss my big icon boxes of my recent work.
So, back to the drawing board again, sort of. As you can see the new design is a mix and match of different concepts of my old design, and my first draft for the new redesign. I knew I wanted big text in the header, and I also knew I wanted my icons...so now we are here and you are looking at the overall outcome.
So, what's new?
- New comments.
- Powered by the new PureEdit...still testing it ;).
- Pays closer attention to what I've learned recently regarding accessibility and web standards.
- And last but not least...Google Adsense. I've made $1.20 cents so far...yay.
- New text on about me page.
As I promised in my last post, I'll release more information on PureEdit shortly, just sit tight.
