I've been busy, I put PureBILL on hold for a few months, been busy working and freelancing. I basically program all day at work and then come home and try to find some design work to do, but sometimes I end up just programming more. I'll be posting a few templates I've been working on here latly for freelance, they are pretty.

I finished the theme change system today. I also redirected Pureflux.com to this site. Most of today was spent working on a personal project: PureBILL.

My friend Cody started talking about all these freelance designers in the UK who were featured in an art mag he had bought. Seeing all of their personal blogs inspired me to create my own. Not much going on today except being lazy like always, sitting behind my computer doing freelance work for family/friends/friends of friends.

My Story

Born on June 8th, 1986 in Oklahoma I quickly started to doodle and scribble what you could somewhat call drawings.

In late 2000 I was introduced to the art of web design...Let me rephrase that, I was introduced to the art of Homestead. After a few months it was time to move on a friend, Philip Wickett, had told me and bought me the now dreaded FrontPage 98.

In early 2001 is when I started picking up on the web design world. I kept meeting new friends who in return would teach me and somewhat 'push' me into differnt aspects of web design. First it was PhotoShop, "Man, Mike! Learn PhotoShop!" ... "Mike! PHP, gosh, PHP!" ... "You gotta get into this DHTML scene man!" ... "Ohh, Flash is where the future is, do it!"

The person I have to thank the most for pushing me in the right direction of most of the areas I excel at today is a friend who I like to call 'Jake ______.' I am not sure of his last name, he won't tell me it. Jake mainly pushed PhotoShop and PHP upon me.

Today I have become a freelance web designer, developer, and programmer, innovating company websites all over the web.
